Consistent quality is what you get here. If this was not a chain restaurant I might give it a higher rating, but it is. The pancakes here are the same pancakes as the cracker barrel in Georgia, Florida, or any other location. That is not a bad thing because they are very good, but I cannot warrant 5 stars on normal. Today's food choices: Buttermilk pancakes: fluffy, crisp edge, delicious with the real maple syrup Scrambled eggs: slightly over cooked, but I swear they give you more than two Bacon: perfectly crisp strips of quality pig. Biscuits: Not like Aunt Linda makes, but an acceptable attempt. Maybe a little too dense, but tastes good with a bit of gravy and jam. Grits: I actually love the grits at cracker barrel....they leave the seasoning to me at the table. Never over cooked and always consistent texture. Coffee: not as famously good as they say it is, but much better than the gas station. It's bold, but not bitter however it is not as smooth as I would like. Overall as expected Cracker Barrel has delivered a consistent quality meal worthy of my breakfast dollars. I always love the price, and the country store charm. The service was not bad for being as busy as it was. We were seated, fed, and out the door within an hour. Our server was attentive, and kept my coffee filled. He received an above average mark for speed and politness, but I have to admit service is usually a lot slower than this when busy. You should be prepared to stroll around the store for a while during busy hours.

Just expect to be at this location about 2-2.5 hrs ANY time of day. You can also expect to ask your waitress multiple xs for everything. Not complaining, just stating the facts. I'll have to be honest. I love the food at Cracker Barrel, but along with great food, a restaurant must also deliver good service to me to get a decent rating. Pros: Pecan crusted catfish: This is so delicious at this location, it is unbelievable! Moist, cooked to perfection and whatever glaze they have encrusted on top is just completely complimentary to this piece of fish. Pecan Pancakes: Ok, I have a thing for pecans, obviously! This is my FAVORITE breakfast item on the menu. The pancakes are fluffy--full of carbs with little protein--and the pecans just add that extra umph. French Toast: This item is very good too, so long as you ask for the toppings on the side. I'm warning you now, if you don't ask for them on the side, expect to get alot of topping and very little toast! So-So's Meatloaf: This item can be hit or miss. I've had it when it is really, really moist and delicious. Other times, I've have it dry and bland. Chef Salad: Here again, this is hit or miss. Why? It's salad. It should come the same EVERY TIME, but it just doesn't happen. Sometimes it's served with cucumber, sometimes not. Sometimes with croutons, sometimes you have to ask, sometimes I can't find any lettuce for all of the croutons! Speaking of croutons..these are hit and miss too. Sometimes, they are so delicious--buttery and soft made out of sourdough bread. Other times, they are really, really salty and hard. Grilled chicken tenders: I LOVE these when they are cooked to perfection--not overcooked. But, it's hit or miss--sometimes, they are just perfect. Other times, they are small, hard, and burned! I have sent them back a time or 2. Cons The Service: As I've already stated, I have NEVER had consistent service at this location. No matter what time of day you visit, it's just not great service. Their employees seem really exhausted to me.

Called placed a carry out order... Asked for hash brown casserole got corn instead.... I was sure to check for the apple butter I requested which wasn't in the bag... The hostess got it and told me to tell them when I order, as if I didn't, I drove 6 mi to get this woman... Needless to say I sad. So I called to let them know my order was wrong, they took my name for a free meal on my next visit.

I love this place. I am visiting from la and wanted something good for breakfast so we found this place. The food was great the hash brown casserole was mind blowing and the biscuit was good too. The best part of the meal was the service from our waitress Sally. She was awesome, and our coffee was always filled. A nice little touch was the cute store attached to the restaurant. It had a bunch of unique gifts and I couldn't walk out of there with out buying something.

Horrible all the way around. We were there around noon and had a 15 min wait for a seat which was not bad but then the waitress took our drink order and didn't come back for 10-15 more min. Then she dropped off our drinks and we didn't see her for a while. We ordered pancakes and eggs. Everyone at the tables in the other sections were enjoying biscuits and jelly while they waited. No one in our section had anything. We had a 1:30 appt. and it was almost 1 before she brought our food. The pancakes were cold and hard. The eggs were congealed from sitting to long. She never brought the jelly we asked for for the biscuits nor any refills. We had to ask another waitress to find our waitress so we could get the bill. The worst experience ever at a Cracker Barrel!!

Living in California we ain't got no Cracker Barrel. :-( First of all I'm a huge Cracker Barrel fan. This food is the real deal. Don't come here if you're on a diet. This is comfort food cooked in a whole lot of "goodness". This is where us big boys eat. More gravy please.

I live in California and was so excited to go to Cracker Barrel! As I love there food! I was so disappointed. Our food came out over a period of 30 minutes. Mom was done eating before others got their food! Didn't get drinks and the food was not up to expectation. I could go on and on! Not sure what the issue was but Cracker Barrel is my favorite and prior to this we had always has excellent service. Sad day

It is consistently a excessively long wait every time I come in. It doesn't seem to matter if you have a "to go" or dine in, the wait is going to be at least a hour! What is the problem?

I think this is a neat place because they have rocking chairs outside at the front of the restaurant outside for people waiting for their table to get called. They have a charming store where you can get knick knacks of old fashioned home goods or sweets, and they have a bunch of nostalgic artifacts hanging from the ceiling. I had the Friday Fish Fry catfish special, which included steak fries and cole slaw. I thought it was a pretty good portion and tasty seasoning. I've also had the biscuits and gravy there as well, which was good - I'd come back for more.

My mother loves this place so we often find ourselves here late on Saturday mornings. Although Momma's pancake breakfast is legendary in our house, I'm not a huge lover of the pancakes at CB or of breakfast at any time of the day. So, I stick with what I know Cracker Barrel does well - the burger! Yes, the burger. Since childhood I've come to love the cheddar topped burger on sourdough bread with pickles and thick cut steak fries. I always skip the coleslaw which has much too much mayonnaise. Trying some unique snacks in the Old Country Store such as the S'more candy bar, the peanut butter and jelly candy bar or the mint mini moon pies makes the visit always more enjoyable. If you can tolerate the crowd in the store or if you enjoy occupying your time playing checkers by the fire, head over to Cracker Barrel at any time of the day.

I had horrible service at this Cracker Barrel. When we received our food the 'runner' had no clue who ordered what & Had the order incorrect. I ordered the sunrise sampler, which had an orange slice on the eggs. The orange slice was CLEARLY ate off of. After it took two servers to get our server we were finally able to request a manager. When the manager finally got there she proceeded to tell me that she sliced the orange with a slicer and there was no way it was ate off of. Well Ms. Manager. If you sliced the orange and it looked like that then you should have thrown it away!!!!!!! However she proceeded to ask me if I wanted something else to eat. Well clearly HECK NO I don't want any other food. I'm not silly ..... So you all can mess with my food again?!?!? This is just ANOTHER bad experience I have had at ANOTHER Cracker Barrel! Wish it could be better but I will never return to a ccc Cracker Barrel no matter where it is.

I have sent them back a time or 2. Cons The Service: As I've already stated, I have NEVER had consistent service at this location. No matter what time of day you visit, it's just not great service. Their employees seem really exhausted to me.

Sad day

Cracker Barrel always is a great place to take a walk down childhood memory lane in their gift shop. Our waitress and the service was great but the food wasn't so good food came to the table a little cool not hot.

It is consistently a excessively long wait every time I come in. It doesn't seem to matter if you have a "to go" or dine in, the wait is going to be at least a hour! What is the problem?

Food was kept under a heat lamp because had to wait for the chicken to get done. Some of the food was dried out and some of the vegetables were cold. Waitress was great.

Our server was a ginger with a black-eye. Obviously a stepkid. Service is consistently good, with food arriving in less then 10 mins. even on the busiest days. Cracker Barrel always works in a pinch.
